Hi, Christine. I know you’re disappointed that your application wasn't chosen. I didn't state that there was a 1 dog policy. I mentioned several times that two pets were ok. When multiple applications are received, the landlord uses several criteria factors in his decision making process. Ultimately, he felt the application he accepted was the strongest in all areas of the qualifying criteria. It's never an easy decision for a landlord, especially when there is a large volume of interest like there was with this property. I understand feeling disappointed that your application wasn't chosen. Best of luck to you with your home search.
